The 16th LogiMAT International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management, which took place from March 13 to 15 in Stuttgart, was a huge success, welcoming more than 1,500 exhibitors and some 55,000 visitors. LogiMAT is the most important event in the intralogistics industry calendar.
As one of the leading consulting companies for digital supply chain management and one of 18 SAP strategical innovation partners, Westernacher participated in the trade show not only as an exhibitor, but also as a speaker in two forums.

Yard Logistics live experience. An on-the-spot highlight.
Getting to grips with new SAP software at the event using our live model and understanding some of the key advantages.
At our stand, our visitors had the chance to see an SAP Yard Logistics Live model. With the help of RFID controlled technology, it forms the supply chain from the goods arrival, through to the entire parking lot and to goods receipt. Visitors discussed with local experts their processes and experience and how they can realize them directly on the model. Linked to the SAP software Yard Logistics, visitors not only had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with it, but also to learn more about the interfaces, digitization and the Internet of Things.
The Yard Logistics model Westernacher displayed was a point of attraction and an “ice-breaker” for more insightful discussions. The model acted as an entry into other interesting conversations. Our visitors started with the subject of Yard Logistics, then entered into other discussion about TM, EWM and IBP solutions.
